Gents, I know I can trawl gumtree and autotrader for comparitive pricing but this car has some other unrelated issues that I need some insight into.
The car is a silver auto 530i, has been standing for 5 months due to what the owner ays is a "blown traction control and ABS unit" ie the car has no ABS or TC and I assume has a flurry of dash lights on.
I know these people well and they assure me it drives fine, mileage is at 220 000 and gearbox was overhauled at 180k kms at agents.
Has a partial service history (150k kms till current mileage).
Anyone care to tell me what a suitable offer would be? Im keen on the car and he wants to sell?
