Hi guys

I've always seen comments on ///M's and how a lot of people love the ///M's in manual. I'm a lazy bum, I prefer it in auto/M-DCT.

What do you prefer? You don't have to own one.

The poll is public too.

M3 - Manual up to E92, DCT beyond.

M6 - F13 in DCT, only other M I would have other then a M3 or M Coupe.

Years ago I used to think auto is the work of the devil. Now with the increased volume of cars on the road, auto is bliss. Especially in peak traffic.
The newer generation auto boxes is also not the sledge hammer industrial type auto's of yesteryear, and actually quit smooth, some auto boxes even makes slower drivers faster.

Manual - That is simply what I prefer.

The second reason for manual, is that a lot of us cant afford these cars new. So when the car reaches 10 years of age, and becomes more affordable, then the cost and complexity of failing parts on these automated manuals is just not viable.

I think with me perhaps, because my ///M is a weekend car and I drive it like a granny, I like the relaxed driving style it gives.

When it comes to my little Z3 though, I initially hated that it's a manual, but I've really warmed up to the way it feels to engage every gear, and it being a roadster.

So far, the votes look 50/50.
