Hi Guys

I am buying a set of calipers for my e28 to go with my coilover upgrade

They are from an e34 540, Ive done a lot of research and they will bolt straight onto my car.

The next port of call however are pads and discs.

I will be able to run e36 m3 pads with these calipers. The rear 540 discs + pads are in good condition and OEM. I want to know what the e36 m3 guys are using for pads? So I know my options + costs for the future.

Second question is power brake make front discs + pads for the 540 brakes @ R2600 For the discs + pads .What Im asking here is does anyone run powerbrake discs + pads and what are your thoughts?

Im thinking of running powerbrake kit at the front and then leaving the rear OEM till they are kaput

And prices? Bare in mind its going on an e28 528 . I dont have much power, and the guys on the american forums say just changing to the 540 calipers will pull your face off.

Im just gauging a feeler for whats out there and prices when it comes to e36 m3 pads as they will work with my new calipers.

Okay so we have a + 1 for UUC

I use Ferodo DS2500, felt it suited the nature of the car. Using oem 3.2 floating discs in front. Back is standard e36 m3 discs.
