Go check out the E65 7 series, one drive and you will see why I love mine so much, that is if you can get over how awesome that interior is.

I still find the E65 the most luxury interior out of any car in its price range, and that includes the S Classes, it is just simply outstanding.

And it looks good as well from what I can see in the pics, although Km's are a bit high, who cares, its a beemer, if you look after it...

My dads partner sold his E36 recently with like 630,000 on the clock.

Awesome mileage.. but who buy a car with that sort of km's on???
i hope he was a collector or it was a bargain of note! just shows you how good BMW actualy is!! I think BMW is the best engine designs in the world but jeez the electrical issues are a bit anoying!

Baby steps for me ZL, I am used to my 3 series and Astra OPC - the 7 will be a big jump literally....

My uncle has a 730d which I have driven, it is a super luxurious car with a very classy interior. I am not a fan of the exterior styling though, but it is still an awesome machine.

Quite like the E39 5 series esp, with the Msport package. Probably gonna be looking at a manual 530i with decent mileage. What would be an avg price to expect?

The E36 was sold to a guy who is going to turn it into a track car, so yea i guess it went to the right owner, the scary thing is that my dads partner put most of those KM's on there

The same partner however also owns a E46 330 manual and a E46 330 cabrio (in white bought it new, this this is a looker), so i guess his passion speaks wonders.

I remember being like 14 years old looking at that 328, and said that one day, I will drive one, same with the E28 we use to own when I was a younger...

Man I would kill for a E28 as well....

Yeah, im much the same LZ, I grew up in a 325is (my moms) and a 525i (my dads) and then a succession of other bmws after, including a m535i, always loved a bmw.

@Hellas, great looking 525i, love the mags and colour, but sadly, I'm looking for a v8, I dont really want to settle for something i havent got my heart set on.

I spoke to my friend who deals in cars, told me he sold a 2002 e39 540i 6 speed manual with 180k km, for R80 000. He reckons that I must look around more, and he will keep his eyes open.

dude, lol, In my opinion, the E39 540i, nevermind 540i, the entire E39 range. are the best cars in the world, its won so many awards for that fact... power, smoothness, and its so much bluddy fun to drive.. you can drive it like a granny with classical music on, or you can drive it like schumi with some heavy metal.. it just adapts.. and their quite hard to break.. I've had mine for 3 years now, and I'll never sell it.. ever.. and if u drive it nice, the fuel consumption is quite good also.

My fuel consumption sucks in my new car, but its to be expected really. 328i was far more efficiant.
