What do you hate about your Bmw?

E90 320d M/Sport
- Cup holders
- RFT
- I don't fit very nicely in the Sport seats,I almost sit on top of it more than in it. (I am rather big, not fat, haha)
- I have to roll into the car (Tall(ish) and big)
- Sometimes when using the window washer, the Xenon washers go and sprays the whole car full of soap. I don't mind but the wife shits me out if the car is clean and that happens.

I only drive the car over weekends, so all this doesn't matter that much!

E90 - 325i Sportpack

• RFT's (Upgraded to 19" Non RFT's and makes the world\s difference)
• No space for spare wheel in boot (have to lug the thing about behind the seats)
• I struggle to get into the car... It's quite low
• Window buttons (also keep pulling on the rear window buttons)
• Expensive parts/services
• Low resale value (but this also allowed me to own this car as stated by a previous poster)

Well, at the moment hate the fact that the agents did not fix my car's 'pinking' issue - now have to fix this on my own as in at my own expense, so much for having motorplan...

For the E90, the lack on interior materials quality, and for that mater design. Electric windows switches on the driver's door is placed in a very impractical location - took a long time to get used to it, but still sometimes end up opening the right rear window instead of the driver's window. Being forced to use BMW Approved RFT's - not all of them are any good, and no proper place for a spare wheel or space-saver is also very stupid. Lag and slight delay in throttle response is annoying a lot of the time, can only compensate for it so much before it trips you up. Eats fuel when idling and not moving!

I second you on all those points especially the interior peeling by the driver's door panel near the switches and the rear centre console :argh:

The fact that my rear seat can only carry 2 people because it has that bog cup holder and ashtray and power jobby and cubby and and and, its like a vanity cabinet in between the seats lol

My next one will have the optional 3 seater rear bench seat :thumbs:

1) Msport steering wheel starting to peel away

Some of you guys are going to nail me for this one...I am not going to state the things I "hate" as the threads' precondition dictates, rather I am going to list out my dislikes...

Things I dislike about my 1M:
-I dislike the fact that I was allocated a car I did not order :|
-I dislike the "clunking" diff - not sure if anyone else has the same issue.*
-(This one is an exception) I detest the standard BMW speakers.
-I dislike the scratch some a$$hole maliciously made on the side of the car. (meh)
-I dislike cleaning the rims - my knuckles will never be the same.
-I dislike the air conditioning which is like "an asthmatic blowing air on you".
-I dislike the fact that "out there", there are many GTI's that would "whack" my car...
-I dislike the tyre prices and that we are obligated to fit Michelin tyres for warranty purposes.**

*as per my dealership, this is how the LSD works (I disagree with them)

*Off Topic* Are there seriously GTIs that smoke a 1M? are these modified?

Lack of cup holders
Bad speaker system
Wood grain trim
Cleaning the rims:argh: (the worst job in the world)
How the wheels fit in the arches
First to second gear AWKWARD shift


But despite all these issues I absolutely LOVE my car coz in a strange way, all these things MAKE my car the awesome machine it is:thumbs:

Welll just about everything has been said here for the E90's... lol lol..

1. I like the car being low. sport suspension is awesome.
2. Love the sport seats cause at least my ass still fits. cause you can inflate those little side supports on the back rest. love it lots...
3. Love most things on my car.

The negative that no one mentioned is the passenger window switch.. really shit place to put it.. lol lol..

My interior still looks great and nothing peeling or anything.

but yes, no dipstick that sucks... no temp gauge, that sucks too..

and being only a little 323i it's a bit lazy off the line...

Other than that i love my car...

I didn't know that untill my wife showed me over the weekend, now I also fit, haha!!!
Now I am not fat anymore!! Yipee!!
