What did you do on your car today?

Also giving the E90 some love this weekend

I'm not gonna go down my usual wordy diatribe. I will make two comments though:

1. I'm loving my plasma cutter more and more. This thing is the shizz
2. Outside of the performance tune on my car, this was the cheapest upgrade with the most value. It really sounds incredible for the price you pay!

Figured that I could rather have the 7 washed and have a cup of coffee instead of sitting in traffic.

Now that's the right idea. I was thinking of doing the same this morning seeing as I was already late for work. But then I didn't.:blueCry:

Replaced the front brake pads and sensor...and then went to the doctor and got a bucket load of meds for sinusitis which also caused an ear infection :-( #fml

Washed, polished and waxed!! Thanks to Crazy Detailer for such great products and speedy service.

She got new rims for Christmas and I just got them wrapped in some new rubber a few days ago. Ditched the run flats and couldn't be happier. Way better ride/grip on crappy roads. Feels faster on pull away, less slip/spin. Might just be my butt dyno or the quality of the old run flats. Either way car is transformed with normal tyres.

took my wife out for a week holiday to plett. The girlfriend wouldn't let me go alone so she tagged along. My wife got a decent fuel consumption..... For a 95 m50tub25. Over 1/4 tank left after 550 km. Not bad in my books

Checked the tensioner and deflector pulleys this morning. Both are badly worn. Will replace them tomorrow morning.

Below is a video of the tensioner pulley.

Swapped lef right stock seats in the E30. My driver seat is shotty and worn out. Destroying my back thoroughly.

Been for a short drive and my back is already curing itself.

I fitted the M-Performance Side sill extensions this weekend, and gave her a really good wash. Last pieces of the puzzle are the gloss black grills. Will have those by the end of the month and then her transformation will be complete...

I was thinking about the same thing - colouring that strip above the spots black as well. It would definitely make the opening look wider and more aggressive. I've seen it on a red F30 on the f30post forums and I think it looks really good.

Would be interested to see how it all looks once the M-Performance bits are fitted!
