NOT LYNDHURST AUTO!!!!

Hey moranor, they really close to the glen shopping centre...
when you get off the highway and instead of the turning left to go down the street to the glen you go up 1 robot and they on your right hand side. my sales guy there is tony fletcher... great guy to deal with and he actually remembers a person... then the dude where i book my car in etc. whatever you wanna call that guy is antonio santos.. [email protected], also a really good guy to deal with and if you ask him something silly he even took me to the workshop so i can see how they balance and allign my wheels etc. :)

when my car went in last time they did scratch it though but i had an answer the next day where they said the scratch wasn't there when you booked it in.. we will fix your car. that's the only thing that happened and i do understand that shit happens, the good thing is that they acknowledged it and willing to fix it. :)

@ lz - no dude not far from me cause i stay in brackenhurst and the glen shopping centre is just around the corner. :)

Auto Glen is located in Oakdene. Agree that service is awesome. Tony Santos really goes beyond the call of duty. Neo in parts also tops!

Joburg City Auto... crap!

Auto Alpina Boksburg - parts department speak to Goldwin. Extremely helpful and friendly.

Just want to give a thumbs UP to Bruma Auto for the work they did on my car.
My car went in because I wasnt happy with my clutch. Would slip when i went through the 1st 3 gears quickly and sometimes got some shudder in reverse after spirited driving.
Long story short, the clutch was replace but had a 2 weeks delay because parts had to come in from Germany. 2 different cars were given me over the period my car was in.
I got SMS's reminding me when my car was booked in, a thank you for booking my car in, to thank me for choosing them to service my car as well as a follow up call after the service.
I got a call EVERY day from the service advisor lady, Faye to keep me posted and find out if everything was OK my side and if there was any progress with the shipment.
The car came back clean and the work was carried out neatly and am yet to find any fault.
Overall I am very satisfied with their service. The guy that tested my car, Darmesh was also knowledgable and that then enabled me to fully explain the issues at hand.
+1 for Bruma Auto

DO NOT GO TO SANDTON AUTO

I bought a "brand new" BMW 320i F30 M SPORT, had issues which never seem to be getting resolved. Less than 10k on the clock and the car has spent more time with them than with me.
Would love to go into the details, but it just frustrates me thinking about it.
Still stuck with a shitty brand new BMW

Alberante BMW is great!
Always received exceptional service from them.

North Cliff Auto - service department is no good!
Had at least 3 bad experiences before going to Alberante.

Fastserv auto in Pretoria is great. I've been there for major service and steering angle sensor. Also got my boot replaced because I reversed into a tree. Jacques knows his stuff!

I'm taking my car to tune tech tomorrow morning for control arms and possibly bearings. Will see how it goes.

Menlyn Auto in Pretoria East! Best aftersales service ever. Bought 3 cars from them already, and will always go back. I'll put you in touch with a sales person.

Booked my car in at Club motors fountains yesterday, might I add I always got good service there.

Specifically asked the service adviser, if my car can be done before 15h00, and for a driver to pick me up so that I can be there at 15h00 collect my car and go. Keep in mind my daughter had a show she was supposed to be part of at 16h00. So I still need to drive from Fountains back to Centurion, pick her up at school and dive to venue.

Service Adviser, said, no problem. Call at 14h00 to confirm if car is nearly done and what time driver will be here. Adviser told me, all good, driver will call when he is here. 14h50 I call, and wait 5 min for adviser, who is now not available, speak to the guy that manages the drivers and he tells me he will personally come. 15h20 call again, and told diver is on his way, by this time I am pissed, told the adviser this is NOT what we arranged, why did she not tell me the morning if they were going to be to busy, she just says sorry. Ask to speak to Wynand the DP, Wynand in a meeting.

Driver eventually rocks up here at 15h45 and first drives to Toyota to pick another driver up. Get to the dealership at 16h10. Pissed off.

So I refuse to deal with Isabel and ask to speak to Jaun (whom is a brilliant Service Adviser) Tell him I am extremely upset, as I now have to go look in my daughter's 8 year old eyes and explain why she did not make a function, she has been practicing for for 3 months. he takes me to Wynand's office and offer me a juice while he go get my car. Told Wynand how disgusted I am, always been a happy customer, how can they let me down like this.

Now what happened next is what is what all DP's need to do, service recovery is vital and just as important to ensure good service. He called the responsible parties in, gave them kak and had them apologize to me. He then send them out, and kept apologizing to me. He said he cant buy back the time lost, but hi staff knows he don't tolerate this type of service and would like to make it up to me. I told him I want nothing more, but not to have a repeat of this type of situation. He agreed, that communication cost nothing and is important. He offered me a full valet and the use of a new 320D for two days, whenever it suits me.

Now its not the goods that changed my experience, it was the fact that a DP, who knows what customer service is, together with a good adviser (Juan) went out of their way to change my experience. yes my daughter still missed her show, but knowing the responsible people is being disciplined and thus someone else wont have to experience what I did, makes a little up for it.

Got a mail from the DP this morning apologizing for the ordeal and assurance I wont experience it again.

I must say JSN really turned around for me. I ordered my ACS back box through Shaun at JSN. After about 2 weeks I decided to go a different route and cancelled the back box. After about a week Shaun found a new buyer and will be returning my deposit. Really awesome service. Will always go back to JSN for my needs.

Menlyn Auto Pretoria - the WORST franchised used car dealer I have EVER had the misfortune of dealing with.

I travelled up from the Eastern Cape to purchase a used BMW X5. Finance was approved and I told the salesman, Lee, that I was coming. I arrived the next morning and was told that the car had a issue with power delivery ( news to me ) ....... We went to go and view the car at the main workshop and for a second I thought I was on candid camera. The condition of the car was appalling. It had been in a front smash and somebody in some back yard had tried to straiten and fix the bumper with a heat gun and succeeded only in melting it ..... Thereafter they painted it by hand before they reattached it with some rusty washers and some drywall screws. The cradle was buckled and bent. The air box was fibre glassed together and the car was filthy.

I promptly said I was not interested in this piece of shit and expressed my dissatisfaction. I was expecting that a vehicle being sold by BMW would be in a reasonable condition and I was also expecting the dealership to have some sort of integrity. I was sadly mistaken. A call to the used car manager Willie Van Deventer was interrupted, when I tried to call back he rejected my call.

I phoned the dealer principle to complain and was given the corporate run around.

My time and money was wasted......

In my opinion their scruples are thin enough to read a newspaper through, they displayed NO integrity, they sell shit and they are a underhanded bunch of cockroaches

!!!!!!!!!!..........MENLYN AUTO SUCKS..........!!!!!!!!!!

Autohaus Monti East london has won the best dealership(After sales inc.) award since 2009 every year ? :)

Unless the trophies in their shop are fake :flyfun:

They repaired my E46 328i for free (minor fuel pipe loose problem, but they looked far to find it) and didn't even invoice me for the coffee :p

So for me :thumbs::inlove:
