Just had my car serviced at Cedar Isle on Friday 12/12/2014. Pathetic service, worst experience I had at a service department. They lost my keys when I got there, waited 40min for a service advisor to help me. The contact on the progress of my vehicle didn't exist. Picked up my car the following day because, wait for it...'they took the car for a test drive and the sump plug cracked, so all the oil leaked out and they had to wash the engine...' Picked up the car the following day, they couldn't find the job card. Eventually when I left, something made me check the oil level and it was close to the MIN mark. So to make a long story short I took it back today, 17/12/2014, to top up the oil. Makes me think whether the oil was changed or not?! So Cedar Isle is definitely not getting my support again!

Very tired of the poor service at JSN. Got my car back today and they did not notice a huge nail in the tyre despite having the wheels off to change the front brake pads.

Went to Joe at Mintys in Sandton who removed the offending nail and repaired the puncture on a brand new 20 inch run flat. Thanks Joe

last month JSN stripped my lock nut. They then had to replace the whole set at my expense and damaged my 20 inch rim when forcing the stripped bolt off. Bottom line is the DP is invisible and the rest don't give a sh***t.

Interesting. Stop going there then, so that the rest of us can enjoy the great service. Stavros has always gone out of his way to personally help me when I've been there so as for your comment about him being non present, I cannot disagree more.

Seriously though. Must they inspection the entire circumference of each tyre just because they took the wheels off? It's very easy for them not to see.

The lock nut well that's a different story. I wouldn't have paid.

JSN are a joke & need to get a clue, profiling customers by race is a bad business idea, but what goes around will come around & it's only a matter of time

Maybe service is just pathetic everywhere, in my 10 years of owning M cars JSN have been the most consistent and I have tried the following:-

Sandton Auto
Auto Glen
Club Motors Randburg
Northcliff Auto
Clearwater Auto

I received bad service from Cedar Isle Auto. After servicing my car I noticed an oil leak. The car was returned and the Service Manager promised me that they would repair the car the same day. I was unable to wait and asked them to have the car ready by Monday afternoon. On Monday afternoon, I was told that the car never made it into the workshop because the service advisor forgot to open a job card.

I am not using Cedar Isle again for any of my cars.
