Yeah, according to another database there are 4 2002tii tourings left in the uk, with more than 1000 imported. The numbers are diminishing quickly.

But most of the 1 672 2002 turbos can be accounted for, a lot are in bad shape in a garage somewhere but will most likely still cost around 25 000 pounds for a rust bucket.

There are much less 2002ti's left than turbos, even though there were 10 time more made of the ti's, guess they were all raced till the doors fell off:ninja:

Fun to see people still taking care of the cars..

Regards
Jacques

It's so not easy to tell, but both 540iM's and 333i's must be very thin on the ground. I have never been able to pinpoint regarding the 1976 530MLE, but since the mid-nineties, and with a lot of help, have only been able to unearth around ten, of which some are now dead and gone, and most are not in a driveable state. I only know of four that are running. Undoubtedly there are a few more, but how many? Still very low figures we are talking here.

Always difficult to tell for sure. You have guys that are very quiet about what is in the garage. Unless someone can dig in the AARTO database its very near impossible to know for sure. Even then the details on the registration are usually very scetchy. Does your reg papers list it as a 530MLE? The info 25 surviving ACSchnitzer MCoupes is probably sourced from motorplan details. They are off motorplan now.

Agree, it is almost impossible. Luis tried it, I don't think he had that much success. Can't remember what's on my reg papers, but it isn't 530MLE as the MLE suffix is not official, and was post launch. More than likely it will just have 530.
