Bud just check with whoever it is that you have the warrenty with what their position on your doing SW on the car is... Last thing you want to happen is something to go and they come back at you with "Sorry we didnt know you modified the car, we wont cover this"

+1 or go for a plug and play unit, which is just as good as software in most cases. :thumbs:

Most aftermarket warranty's just want you to service it at a RIM authorized workshop. I highly doubt that they will ever check if you have SW. I was speaking to my mech and the "inspectors" have only once ask for a part to be sent in. And they know I have SW on the car and have no problem claiming from my warranty...
