Hi fanatics,

BMW E46 330D, 5SPD MANUAL
When I throw water/coolant in my coolant tank the water runs straight through, to my oil pan without evens starting the car. Can it be my oil filter housing gaskets that gives this problem?

I have skimmed my top and checked my block everything is still fine honing marks is still there on the sleeves, no water marks on the pistons, so what can be the problem?

Any possible information will help. :smashScreen:

Thanks

You sure you're not putting water in the oil filler cap ;)

No buddy, throwing it in the radiator reserve tank and its still leaking water by the oil pan.

Have you checked the water tank as it might have hairline fractures in and causing leakage, and have you tried to reseat the water cooling tank in the seal at the bottom where it connects to the radiator.

Remove the reservoir and just reseat it, there is a seal at the bottom where it connects to the rad, maybe that is worn.
