that would mean there is no such thing as a McLaren F1 (bmw) or a Pagani Zonda (merc) or a Ford ST (volvo - previous model) or an Audi R8 v10 (lamborghini) etc etc :fencelook:

It was part of the RS club championship being run throughout this year. 7 events in totol. So we had a great turnout, Reno's are no known for their top speeds, but was fun non the less.

Thanks, what do modded x35's do more or less? I expected around that speed to be honest, but was not sure what stock x35's do on the 1km.

Modded you're looking at 220-228 km/h at the 1km mark and below 13s for the 1/4 mile. Depending on traction though.

I would think the highly tuned x35's can run higher ie 235-240 ish?

I managed to run a 237 in Jan with temps at 36 degrees..also my car was not 100% at the time as the map a had loaded was a bit too aggressive for the conditions on the day. When I got home I noticed from the data logs that my timing was all over the place even with a strong water meths mix? Previously under much cooler conditions all looked fine. So lesson learnt, next time at ODI I will run a slightly more conservative map which should smooth the timing out and give me a couple of extra Km/h's up top. I know M3_Devil has also run a 237 previously at ODI and I think Sherwin did a 248 in a 135i not so long ago. However George still holds the record of 251 on the Km in his 335 with stock turbo's.
BTW 216 on the Km sounds good for a stock 135i, well done!:thumbs: ...now let the mods begin :rollsmile:
