I'm Stephan735i from Sweden.
I drive since august 2000 BMW. Than a 1987 5speed E32 735i (from my name is=). 1½ years later I wanted seat heaters and A/C + better condition and wrote a list for what I wanted; manual gearbox, 250 km/h top speed, 4-door sedan. After taking of everything but 540i/6 E34 with M Sport Package and 1995 M5. I found in February 2002 at a BMW dealer in Bavaria with garantee.

I didn't know at the time how rare the car was (in fact it's the only 6speed Cosmos/M-pack with 3:rd brake light). But the trace started with it being one of 46 MY 1996 HE51.
Three years later I bought my second 540i/6. #794/797 fourth last built HE51. In Oxfordgrün metallic with black leather. with it's sister cars #795 and #796 the ones with the most extra equipment. It's now re-exported back to Germany.
All my 540i/6 cars were bought in Germany. No 540i/6 E34 were sold new in Sweden.
After #794 I have bought five more 540i/6. The most special is an ex test car with M GMBH. With them had it a 4,6 liter 350BHP engine under the hood. Taken out before it was sold to Polizei (police) in Stuttgart. It was used as a under cover car to high crime. I bought it from a police auction over the internet. I didn't know anything about this than. But I know it was a very special car since it has EDC III Nürburgring suspension including M5 Servotronic, M5-94 brakes, 90 liter fuel tank (Euro and US none M5 have 80 liter). M System II wheels 8+9x17" + a lote of normal options like LSD, power sport seats, through load-system, power rear curtain, power steering wheel adjustment, 3 spoke sport leather wheel. The police siren is still on the back side of the front bumper

#768 Arktissilber/Schwarz leather. Euro 540i LE/M540i one of seven built HE51 with Nürburgring suspension.
#410 Arktissilber/Silbergrau leather. with M Sport Package (one of six LHD M-pack in Arktis).
GF07905 Individual Orientblau/Schwarz leather with M Sport Package (the only Individual painted Orientblau 540i).
