Thanks for the welcome, I went on early retirement and am in my 13 year of retirement, I started out in Railway Signal Engineering, and then went into Traffic Signal Engineering. I dive a Merc. C180 Kompressor (My Wifes) I am busy with a retirement project, rebuilding "not restoring", a 1941 Chevy Coupe, the same one as Ettien & Riaan did on chanel 265 "Ignition GT" I bought mine as semi complete body on wheels in 2000. That suited my requirements down to the ground, I want the exterior to look the period but with lots of interior mod. cons. I have fitted Jag Suspension Back & Front, The motor & 5 speed manual gearbox is early BMW 535i (1981 - 85) The interior will be all 535i, I welded the complete tunnel and firewall into the chevy floorpan so that I can use the seats, aircon, instruments, Steering, and pedal assembly & lots more.
