Thanks for the welcome I have just taken delivery of my car on thursday and surfing for info on it.
I bought my very first BMW. Its a 2010 325 E90. Titanium silver with the sports kit, sunroof, xenon lights, blue tooth,auto box with the paddle shifts and the hi-fi loud system with includes the ipod and usb.

I was pretty sad to see my c230 v6 coupe go but am loving this car.

I am honestly loving it. thank goodness for PDC. moving from a small coupe to this i opted for PDC front and back and its already helped me out of a tricky parking spot. I am in the city center. I will take some pics in the morning and post it. too lazy now to get down to the basement from the 9th floor I love the sports mode, wow it makes a massive difference :thumbsup:

I agree on the Sports Mode. I assume you have auto? I love my auto, especially in city traffic and on the N1 in the morning. Is yours the 3 Liter or the actual 2.5 Liter? I assume its 3 as that's what most of the newer ones are.

I travel into the City Center almost every day as I study there.

i have no idea what exactly the engine is to be honest. I have never been a big bmw follower. until now that is
Yeah i moved to an auto box on my merc in 2006 and have not looked back so just had to have it on the bmw too. Its brilliant for traffic even though i dont really have any traffic worries. Living in town and our office in platterkloof i am always against it.

Lucky you. I have an hour of traffic when I have early morning classes. Did you buy brand new, demo or 2nd hand. Because if its brand new, remember that you should not drive it hard yet. Bedding in procedure should be in the manual.

demo with 4500 on the clock. mmm i thought all new car engines are already run in so that old story of not driving it hard when you get it no longer applies?

Well a friend of mine also got a new beemer this year and apparently its in the manual. Check yours and see if it says anything, Otherwise it's good to go.

howzit Gareth, I am Jason. Yeah i read your story earlier ... pretty cool story man. Yeah this is my first BMW. I wanted the 330d when i took that baby for a test drive i simply loved it, but the deal on this 325 was just too good to pass up. Will check the manual. I was given the bmw usb stick and was trying to find out if the system i have supports folders on the stick or does all the music just have to be in the root directory.

I wouldnt know about that. I still have the old school tape deck.

But just try it out and see. Have a couple songs in root and the rest in folders and see if it works.
