Thanks for the welcome. I have a 2001 E39 530i with about 170k on the clock. Just been told by JSN motors that my engine is fried and that there is no point putting it back together again. Was wondering if anyone had any advice? Replace the engine? Sell for parts? Send it to the scrap heap?
