Still saving up for a 330i... I think it is a briliant engin. At the moment, 2005 Fiesta 1.4 3dr.

Grew up as a BMW fanatic, not currently driving one because of the high maintenance costs on my first car which was a '88 318i. :hammerhead:

Can anyone tell me what fuel consumption they are getting with the 330's, Manual and Auto? I travel 110km per day to work and back and thus need to be very carefull when considering a 6 cilinder as a daily commuter... Also, what is the insurance costs?

Welcome Jacques,

You will be looking in the region of 11-12l/100 town driving, and anything between 8-10l/100 on the open road.

Insurance on an e46 330i should be about 500-700 per month dependant on where you live.
