Thanks for the welcome!

I was trawling around the chat forum on e46fanatics.com looking for some info on wheels and stuff and came across the thread started by sirsparky and freerider chatting about starting up bmwfanatics.co.za. Agree that the other local options are not great so here I am!

On my wheels, I have owned BMW's for as long as I can remember going back to a 1988 e30 320i that I bought in the UK in 1993. Became a real M3 fan as soon as I could afford one and have owned 5 different e36 and e46 M3's before I bought a Black 2005 M3 CSL about 8 months ago. Never getting over that sound!

Look forward to being a part of the forum.

I saw an old Top Gear episode this weekend about the M3 CSL when it came out. It's simply to drool over. All the fun of the powerful M3, but only less weight. They said you need to put 2 bags of cement in the boot to keep the ass down cause it's so light.

This review of the CSL by Andrew Frankel at The Times sums her up well!

"Its non-negotiable demand for your undivided attention can make every departure an occasion, every journey an adventure, every arrival an event. It’s also rare, beautiful and beautifully engineered."

Also totally addictive!

I'll post some pics soon when I get registered on photobucket.

Nicholas, my son Callum says that your sig is from the anime series Initial D, is he right?
