On the MCoupe vs. M3.
M Coupe's generally have lower km. This because they are not too practical. Having said that besides the 2 seats you have a very big boot for a sports car.
M3 is larger and heavier but the M3 will have better handling (I assume as its got a more advanced suspension). Although a E36 M3 pilot went for a spin with me at the track day and he commented on how stable it sits. I wonder if a better suspension will make up for the extra weight of the M3.
The M Coupe is the stiffest chassis ever developed by BMW.
The seating position is very sporty... but take one for a drive first... I am 5ft 8inch and I sit with the seat almost all the way back... so its not for big blokes.
Engine is the same, front suspension is the same but the rear suspension is from the E30. But because of the compatibility there is a large variety of upgrades.
Body kits are for obvious reasons like hens teeth...
MCoupe is high in the exclusivity department. Its a head turner, I get numerous thumbs up at robots and petrol attendants clamour to fill her up

You will get uninformed people asking if its the new Z4.
Power gains... as easy as with the M3 but everything you do will have more performance gain due to less weight.
High speed handling is one of the areas I do feel the MCoupe will not match the M3. Over 200km/h it starts to get very light...
Jalopnik web sight have classified it as one of the top 10 cars of the decade (90s)
I went through the M Coupe vs. M3 debate and settled on the Z3.
I love my clownshoe:thumbsup:
In my life I have seen 4 in SA, and one is mine!!!
