Water leak

Hi

Car is 2005 e46 325i.

Expansion tank was changed 4 months ago and ever since if I do 20 to 30km local town driving it needs about 500ml top of coolant, however I can do 200km plus and the level doesn't drop all.

No drops on floor

The level is checked the next day when the car is cool. I have a habit of checking oil and water before I drive anyway.

I'm going to take it in for a pressure test but the non consumption on long distance baffles me if it was a leak.

Visit Silverton radiators and have them do a test on the system, easiest way to find out what the issue is.. Did you also change your expansion cap?

Replacing the bottle you fixed one thing and the next weak point popped.

Do the pressure test first to confirm but im almost 100% sure you have an issue with 1 or both of those plastic hoses under the intake

No cap was not changed.
