That sounds like a 200 meter run...not much space for an M3 to come into its own...

I know some quick audis around my neigbourhood. Its a plausible outcome with revo tuning and bits...Even against some x35s.

LOL, yep, that will be fun! GoPro it as well!

M3 V8 is so much nicer anyway, and a 0-200 metre run is not really where the M3 is at its best in most cases, it's from then onwards and as said before, it can just keep on going! That's the difference - like that old expression for small fast modified cars, "fast, but for how long..."

Lol,that's brilliant petri!
I know the M3 is not a robot to robot racer,in fact, anybody who KNOWS BMWs knows that....But it would seem that to some,it is,so that's why they take it on. However, the S3 is the fastest car in the world...... :biglol:
When the new M3 comes out with the turbo charged engine, I think there are going to be some Audi guys that are not going to be as confident as they may be now. I still love the sound of my V8 though... sigh...

Do you have any idea what happens to the E92 M when you put you foot flat .... I've stopped wearing boots when driving it cos it snakes in 3rd.
The M driver was being polite

Actually......funny you should say that.... I have been getting used to my car over the last couple of weeks, because the acceleration is brutal, not only against my RS4 but against anything else I have driven... And the snaking in 3rd,happens even without the power button engaged. So I am inclined to agree with you.

I know I will get flack for this. :fencelook:

I love ///M cars and most especially the V8 ///M. :inlove:

But I have run ahead of a few V8 ///M's that has x pipes, exhausts and SW well past the 200m and 200 km/h mark with my Tuned Cupra. And most of these were driven by competent drivers.

However I will still trade my Cupra and left nut for a V8 ///M.

I know my M3 isn't the fastest car in the world, and there are lots of worked and tuned cars that will beat me.....BUT,as a complete package,I think there is VERY little that can match it. And the cool thing is,yes, the buying price is high, but you get a lot of car for your money without having to do much,if anything at all.
So what it costs someone to buy an S3,tune it and maintain it,he may as well have bought an M3 to start with.
