Warning Message To BMW Drivers

Good Day Guys,

I am new to this forum but have been a BMW driver for a number of years now. This message is merely a warning message to any of you that come across a company called G-Drive. I recently purchased a Aircon Compressor from the company. In speaking to Bruce, he advised that he had the correct part for my vehicle and that I should view the website if I have any reservations. The website indicated that this was the correct part. The order was placed and paid for. Upon receiving the part, it was noted that the part was not correct. Attempts to make contact via phone and email have gone unanswered.

For those who come across this site, i would avoid any purchases as this will only result in disappointment and a loss of funds.

I keep telling people to stay away from that damn place... His service used to be brilliant but now he seems to have become more of a con-artist.

There an old saying, "fool me once, shame on me..."
We all get lead down a rabbit whole at some point. Just don't get caught again:apply 3 quote principle; check references etc....

Just a quick question - my e60 525 is giving me transmission problems. I will appreciate who knows what the cost is to repair/remnufacture and the cost. I will appreciate if you could inbox me. and who are the best people to go to have it done apart from ZF

Not yet, emailed them and waiting, I can't call them at the moment as i am out of the country working for the next 2-3 months but need to get the car sorted out.

I personally spent big money with G-Drive, all components supplied were either wrong or of sub-standard quality.

When I bought my E60 530d I wanted to replace the headlights and spots and duly ordered and paid for them

The spots ended up being for a 3 series, the adjusters were on the wrong side and no amount of arguing resulted in any reason.
He fell back on that no parts supplier will exchange electrical components.

Then the Headlights were a really bad fit, in that they did not follow body contour correctly. Again not interested in discussing anything in achieving a resolution.

I loaded up the parts and took them back, only to find that he couriered them back a few days later.
I ended up selling them to a BMW spares place for a fraction of their cost.

I should have invoked the CPA as goods were not fit for purpose, but I really didn’t have time back then.

I certainly will never buy a single thing from G-Drive, ever again.

Many of their components are sold as OEM factory sourced, or its is the same factory, just different packaging etc. which on further investigation was patently not the case.

Guys like this do not deserve to be supported nor be in business.
Spread the word.
