hi guys
does the airbag sign mean it does not work anymore or??
and how do u get that yellow n red service lights to go away....its been there for quite a while now...

Hi Bud,

I do diagnostics at the shop. Pop past and I will take a look for you.

THe service indicators are easy to take out. The airbag light is due to a loose connection or something, perhaps dirt in one of the connectors.

Or, somebody at a car wash removed the seat and unplugged it, so it stored a fault,

EIther which way, its not an issue to reset the airbag light provided the fault is gone, else the light will just come back.

@ Leonard: from start up my airbag light will stay on.... it will flicker then go off/on as soon as I exceed 60Km/h or drive on really bumpy surfaces.

Is this airbag connector located under both driver & passenger seats ?

Common problem on BMWs E36 crappy connectors.

OBD-II reset will help for a while - until next seat move during i.e. car-wash

I've learned to just ignore mine.
