Warning light on Dashboard - Water Light

HI Guys and Ladies,

I have a warning light that indictaes water in my radiator is low, but infact when i checks EVERY SECOND day...it's not low at all, and not leaking..... has anybody experienced this? and if so what could be the problem? your input and advise will be greatly appreciated.

Normally the float on the level sensor in the overflow tank gives trouble . Take out and clean , if not better then replace .Good luck .

The level sensor in the expansion tank has gone belly-up. It is a DYI replacement, but if your car is still under Motorplan, get the dealer to fix it.

I had the same problem with the wife's X3.

Thanks guys, i think i'll take it out and have a look to see if i can sort it out DIY style....my baby's not under motor plan so ...ja...but thanks for the info guys.... helps me alot....
