Andy what's more reliable with them? I mean it's the same turbo but the actuator arm is controlled electronically and not by vacuum..?

Newer serial numbers come with slightly improved impeller designs. With most things carrying a newer revision there is an improvement.

Housings remain the same but the internals differ.

Likewise the e90 injectors are superior to the e46 ones ITO making power.

Not necessarily more reliable. Also I can add from personal experience the e46 diesels are more economical than the e90 diesels. Stock for stock and mod for mod.

I dont know how but on the same routes, conditions and me as driver I keep getting the same result.

It could be that the e46 is more aerodynamic?

yesterday had to go to bela bela in northern province,ther and back with a little bit of town driving in Pretoria got an average of 6.2/100km.works out to 16.12 km on a liter,not bad for a performance car:rollsmile:

note I did do some wild pull offs from toll gates just to have some fun
