The different sizes are for people that have centre breaklights or spoilers on their boots. For example my 328 vert. My rear badge is tiny +- 1/2 the size of my bonnet badge!

Bought one for one of my previous BMW's from the Stealership, cost me R650, two days later a truck picked up a large stone, chipping the badge and my windscreen badly. Then bought one at the Bruma fleamarket for R100. Looked good till the day I sold the car.
