Why not? I think its the safest way to learn how your car behaves on the limit. This year I convinced my wife to join in so it will be her first time on the track :)

I just dont like abusing my daily driver... and I feel like i will be abusing it driving it at the limit for the amounts of time in takes to do laps...

I will however love to take your 328i around the track ;) hint hint

Its totally not about how fast your car is. In the first session there will be cars lapping much much slower than a 320.

You guys are on point! Thanks Max for the feedback.

Three different classes...

Beginner, intermediate, and race.

Chilled out track day driving around an iconic race track.

Show n Shine for the posers as well!

As to the slow cars.. Watch out for the 12s Golf R driven by Captain Slow in the beginner group!

Looking forward to meeting you all. If you guys can give me a heads up to final numbers, I will cordon off some space in the pits for the Fanatix track cars to park off in (only registered cars will be allowed in the pit area)

Peace!

Not sure how many people attended but the turn out was poor to say the least.

Max and Exqtr were there, a Z4M and a few 1er's.

If there was 25 cars across the board it was a lot.

So not much traffic on the track, sounds like an awesome time to do some hot laps. BMW events are pretty packed with loads of traffic...

Thanks Ian for an awesome event. My wife did a lot more laps than me in the 125 and she loved it. The track temps were really high and the fronts on the 328 started graining after just 1 flying lap :blueCry: :blueCry: Was really disappointed in the potenza's!

Other than that, was a well organized event with a lot of track action. Well done VW Club!!!!!!!!! :clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper:

Great event and far more than 25 cars there. I saw Nikhil there. I managed to do a few hot laps just to test a new setup. Only complaint is lots of drivers trying to race on straights as you catch and want to pass them but were very (sometime dangerously) slow in the corners where you are not allowed to pass but I suppose that is to be expected at a track day.

I would have enjoyed having more M's on the track!

Saw the Z4M still with the number on the windscreen at the hooters in fourways afterwards.

Your car sounded amazing down the pit straight! That straight 6 :blowheart:
