This specific one was on 100,000km. His consumption improved by 2.4L/100km . They start getting bad at around 50,000km.

I would recommend having it done at 35,000km the first time and thereafter every 30,000km. The fuel savings alone are worth it. I will be doing my own car today at 50,000km and will post up findings although I have followed this car with a boroscope from 30,000km and it has needed it from then. Consumption has gradually dropped from a 9.6L/100km down to a 11.4L/100km. The car can also now not run the timing it use to nor boost on pump fuel.
