Viper Exhausts

I received this quote from Viper Exhausts via email yesterday;

We can do all the following for your E36 328i:

#Viper branch and matching system R6,700
#Viper system only R4,700
#Intake kit R1,800
#Dastek chip & dyno R3,500
#De-cat with replacement boxes R2,200

They also recommended that I do the M50 mod but I'm not clear if they can do it if I can source the manifold.

Do you guys know the quality of their work?

I had Viper Zorsts on my prev sentras, they where pretty good, and service was great, Abel is good chap.

Try to get Mandrel bends if you can..

I had viper. Really good stuff. Price isn't bad for branch and full system. But you should chip it as well after you do the full system and +1000 on getting Mandrel bends!

Viper is awesome, Abel is a really good friendly guy that knows what he is talking about. They may be pricey, but thats because they do "magic".

told me not to do branches as vw was good enough,also no induction kit.wasnt gonna work.

price wasnt bad and the work was excelent.

Herr bmw@ I'm just hoping for good quality workmanship and service. I don't go to companies where the owners couldn't seem to care less about the clients; I'm paying, not asking for a backdoor favour...so if Abel's a good guy then he scores points with me.

I'm NEVER settling ever again, there's always someone out there who can do the job in a customer-centric manner, and to the required standard, that you CAN afford...

the only reason i did not use abel is i could get the same job done cheaper closer to home... i was without my car for over a week though :yuck:

you could also try TNT ive only heard good things about them and they seem to come in a little cheaper than viper... also tnt are closer to you

Moranor@ Eish that's a problem if he's in KZN because I can't be car-less for more than a couple of days...unless I get a pretty young thang there...! At least in GP I can stay at my girlfriend's place.

TNT sound like they're too busy; take for ever to reply emails, and very impatient on the phone...I'll pass...

abel was in kempton park when i did my jetta,2004,so dont know if he moved to kzn but do know viper is still in kempton and he is the best ive had work on my car.if i do another exhaust one day then viper are the only people i will use

Thats TNT. They are like that but their work is top notch, you should see that workshop, its got lots of lifts and has cars waiting in line to get on one everyday! They are busy!!! Thats probably why so bad on the phone...
Oh and they only do mandrel bend pipes!:bravo:

They sell the TNT headers for R1200 if you're interested in using another exhaust shop.

I emailed Viper on friday for some info on a system for my car... hoping to get there reply when i get home from work.

I have emailed viper a couple of times in the past, haven't gotten back to me once, TNT on the other hand came back to me pretty quickly, also spoke to one of their guys at length, his manners seemed decent enough

lol i emailed tnt and never got a reply... i called them and the guy just said i have to bring the car in and hung up...

emailed viper got a reply same day... then he asked for my phone number so he could call me... we chatted on the phone... he was very informative and seemed like a nice guy...
