VIN Plate

Could someone please assist. I have a BMW E36 M3 1993 model, but I need a picture of where the VIn plate is in the engine compartment goes. I started 4 years ago rebuilding the car and stripped everything to bare metal in the engine compartment and for the life of me I cannot remember where it goes on.
