VIN Help

Hi Guys,

I am looking to purchase an E30 possibly a 325is and I have my eye on one, I just need to confirm that it is an original. Is there anyone that can assist by doing a VIN check and advise if it is an original as I am not certain how to determine if it's original or not eveen though it has an OAF Vin:ty:.

The Vin Number is ZBAAB38050AF45141

Don't waste your time with realoem when checking for a iS. The vin is for a Shadowline or a evo 1. So if it has the other iS parts - suspension, aluminium panels, 2.7 engine, iS gearbox and diff then it can pass.

Fuad, ask your local BMW dealer's parts department to check the VIN for you,

OAF is already a good start, but as Leimie said, check that all the correct parts are there..

And check that the engine number matches that of the VIN plate above the passenger side headlight.
