VANOS Solenoids Wanted

Good day Gentlemen,

I am hoping somebody can point me in the right direction - I am trying to source a VANOS soloenoid for a 1994 e36 M3 3.0L - Part Number: 11311318381

I am desperately trying to avoid buying one of these from the stealers

Can anybody assist?

ouch!!! i had to change mine on my z3 Mcoupe...... from the Stealers was like R4500

It gets worse,

My mate took off his VANOS to diagnose the fault (solenoids) and then re-assembled it incorrectly bending all 12 inlet valves

BMW want R1200exl EACH !!! and for the gasket set R9500 excl

Bwwaaaaaahahahahahahaha

We found a set on Ebay for around R3000 for twelve valves plus local duties and a gasket set in CPT for R1400

Now to reassemble

guys if you take the vanos out on an e36 please make sure you lock the cams correctly
