V8 does not want to idle.

Morning . Can someone please help. Start the best this morning and a few seconds later the engine dies , it seems if she idles to low about 500 rpm, but when I switch on the air con then she idles higher and don't die either, she does this when the engine is at normal temperature as well. Is there a quick fix or is there something more serious rong.

Would help if more detail was posted bud, what car is it mileage etc

On my E36 washing the idle control valve out was a temporary fix until I got a new one. I had similar symptoms rectified by turning on the AC.
