Usernames for other sites

Hi,

I am not sure if this was covered elsewhere. Is there no way to get the same usernames to work on the other sites or is there a reason a new registration is required?

But seeing that the other forums are on a new platform and BMWfanatics as not moved over, i doubt it.

I think a way is being looked into, to have all names carried across each platform, however I'm not sure if it will roll out anytime soon.
