Hi, any of you know if there is a limit on the size of USB sticks that the current or new 3 series would read? Will it do 16GB or even 32GB?

I think it will depend more on the format.

Some don't read NTFS but will read FAT32. like the PS3.

None of the E90s (LCI or pre) read NTFS, I have tried many times, in different cars.

All read Fat/Fat32. I use a FAT32 16gb in my car and it works fine. I see no reason why a 32gb wouldnt work. I have even heard of guys in the states plugging in 500gb HDD to the cars USB input with no errors. If you do this, just make sure the drive has good bump protection, or normal driving may impede operation.

It would appear that both ID3 tag v1 and v2 are supported + album art:thumbs:

Just finished loading my USB stick with music and downloading all of the album art. Album art looks pretty cool on the i-drive screen:thumbs:

If anyone is interested MediaMonkey is a great free app for renaming and loading album art to MP3s.:idea:
