Urgent Help Please

Good day everyone

I need help/advise

I have a friend of mine, Thabo, he bought a F10 528i. I went to have a look at the car and found a few defects. The looks like it has been resprayed. I showed him this and he took it back to the dealer who is refusing to take the car back. Can someone please check the car for us? Details below.

VIN No. WBAFP3205AC544463
Mileage: 108372

Dealer Name: Bryanston Executive Cars, 153 Braam Fischer Randburg

They are refusing to take the car back.

Thanks for your help

A few more details:

The trim does not align on the doors
The bonnet does not align
Left fog light is loose
Left back door lock button fell inside/faulty
They told him about the respray but after I had a look at the car I suspect it was in an accident
He got the car this past weekend. Not even 7 days after purchase they refuse to take the car back.

Try Coisman. He can help you if you give him all the info he needs.

First problem is buying a car from Bryanston Executive Cars.

But really he should have not bought the car. These seem like the kind of issues that would be apparent on just looking at the car.

I would phone the bank and ask them to reverse the deal. I think there is a clause somewhere that allows that.

He sent me a conversation with the salesman. The guys attitude sucks for a sales person.

Not everyone that buys a car walks around with an eagle eye, looking for every single little defect.

Some people are just not "wired" like that.

I have never heard of anyone who has cancelled a finance deal and had the delearship take the car back... The bank would act as peace keeping force to say let the dealership see if they can fix the car and give them some duration to sort it out. If not happy then maybe contact the Ombudsman.

I've cancelled before. Only had the car for about 3 days or so. Dealership knew they had f* up lol

It seems these cases are becoming more common. What is the reason provided by the dealership? I hope your friend has all his ducks in a row as well. It would help to take a person with who knows a bit about cars so you dont get fooled into the dealerships BS in the future. I get the feeling theres a bit more to this.

This thread (and others) should serve as a warning to people that dont.

Good day everyone

I need help/advise

I bought a F10 523i on Friday, the 24/08/18. TI asked the if the car has ever been involved in an accident and they said no, they said it was When I was washing it on Saturday, the 25th, I discovered that it had a few defects . The looks like it has been resprayed. I took it back to the dealer today who is refusing to take the car back. Can someone please check the car for us? Details below.

VIN No. WBAFP3205AC544463

They are refusing to take the car back.

A few more details:

The trim does not align on the doors
The bonnet does not align
Left fog light is loose
On direct light you can see that the left front and back doors colours are not the same
Left back door lock button fell inside/faulty
They told him about the respray but after I had a look at the car I suspect it was in an accident
Not even 7 days after purchase they refuse to take the car back.

They are refusing to take the car back.

I phoned the bank and they said the agreement is between me and the dealership, there is nothing they can do

Can anyone advise on what recourse do I have in this matter

Your input will be highly appreciated.

Best regards

Definitely possible to cancel the deal if the reasons for cancellation have merit.

Many people cancel deals, its always a fight, but possible.
