Upgraded tire and rim problem on my 330d.

Hi guys , i recently purchased new rims and tires for my 330d e90 lci. They are 19s HRE reps with front yokohama f1's and rear achilles(265/30). This is the second time this has happened in a short while and is a huge irritation.
The rim spins inside the tire and goes out of balance when pushing the car!
The tire is at the correct pressure and the correct size for the rim.
:bangdesk:
Please help with any suggestions?

Thanks a lot!

sounds as if you have oil on the rim/tyre :fencelook: maybe get the Tyre removed from the rim and clean the contact surfaces between the rim and Tyre. :sorry:

I let the tire set enough as far as I know. The place that did it is really great and they used the normal soap water that is supposed to stick... I think . I did a check now driving somewhere and the mark on the tire moved 5 cm away from the rim mark. This was in a really short distance . I launched it Of course. ..

Maybe the car is too fast for the wheels:fencelook:

On a more serious note

I noticed the car is an LCi (Possibly under MP)
Could it be that you running RFT tyres on a rim thats not designed for RFT?
Thats assuming you have RFT's on

Bro, I am assuming Achilles dont have RFT's, could this perhaps be an issue also?

Way too fast ;).
They are non run flat tyres.. They are perfectly matched for the rims apparently.
I read an article on the camaro zr1 that had that problem... In a way different league of course but the same principles apply.. They kinda sand blasted the lip and then all was good . Maybe I should roughen it up?

I'm gonna do some more research on these achilles:thumbdo:

achillies are really cheap tyres... try another tyre and them send the tyres back.

what pressure are your tyres set at? if they are 19inch I assume they are the 235/265 combo? your tyre pressure should be at least 2.6 in the rears, if its M-sport up to 3.2...

honestly speaking there is nothing wrong with the Achilles tyres, its just as good as any other brand out there depending on how you treat them...

Thanks a million for the help guys! My tyre pressure is 2.7 so within range I'm sure . I'm gonna go back to the shop tomorrow and talk to them about it . the fact that my car isn't an m5 makes me wonder what they would be like on that :bangdesk: . I thought of buying those for ripping up a bit :argh: was a bad choice. Go big or go home:ty:
