update on my 318 steptronic

Ok after my bimmer left me stranded on monday I finnaly got it going again today... Weird thing is it ran out of petrol, though it was just under 1/4. So after checking every thing I realized its not getting fuel, so I added 4L petrol and BOOM puring like a kitten again. I've seen on other forums that this is common problem in BMW's. Anybody else had this problem before?:bangdesk:

Hi, your fuel pump is on its way out. To test this is too drive home, drain your tank below 1/4 and then see if it runs. This is a common problem with the e46. You can google " e46 1/4 tank fuel pump". It helped me when I also had this problem.
