Hehe a banana crossed my mind when I saw this. But in all honesty it really looks amazing. Its different and looks good doing it, I am not a fan of yellow but you managed to make it look good on your car.
Also not a fan of yellow but when I saw pics on Google of the one in Europe and saw it suits the car I decided to go for it. Also saw pics of a M4

Great yellow choice of Yellow.
:clapper:
Got the name of this yellow from the M4 in Abu Dhabi. It's a Porsche and Aston Martin colour (Speed Yellow)

To the OP... its been a few months, hows the dip holding up?

Its doing its job protecting the original paint with the sand blasting/stones. Often get sand blasted on our breakfast runs or a few stones. Only had 1 stone chip the dip and looking at the damage it protected the original paint.

The only issue I've had is the dip on the rims when I had new tires fitted. When they put the new tires on they damaged the dip which caused it to start peeling. Decided to spray the rims instead of redoing the dip.

shit that is done well. Never been a fan of yellow but it suits this car well.

Could you pm me the price you paid to have this done if you don't mind?

Also never been a fan of yellow. Searched online for idea's of a non BMW color, to be different, and came across the F20 120d in Europe with the yellow vinyl wrap with black trim.

It cost me R15k. I originally wanted to do ceramic paint protection (R12k) and protective stone chip film (R9k), then came across the peelable paint. Its a cheaper option and protects the whole car from stone chips, scratches etc.
Never been a fan for vinyl wrap because of the bubbling and peeling that occurs after a few weeks/months.

For a 2 series size car its R12k, a 3 series size was 20k. Prices are from Jan (when I did the car). Don't know what the pricing is now.

I (think I) saw this car pulling into Canal Walk a while back and couldn't believe my eyes, thought this was an OE BMW colour - finish was top notch! Car looks awesome man!

Car is crazy looking - have they ever showed you how the paint is removed from the car and the actual original paint is 100%? asking as I am very intrigued by this process, it looks mad mad mad!!!!

Here's a video of when we pulled off the blue. Once there's air under it, it peels off easily.

Thanks all.

Btw, in the past few months I've done the following:

1) LSD
2) Carbon trim on steering wheel and gear lever
3) Rear strut brace which only came on the F21 M135i (3dr)
