:coolShake::coolShake::clapper: fantastic.

Ok questions -
1. what about fade - what is covered by the installer ?
2. can they redo (and match) just a single panel IE nose section if it has stone chips ? or if in a small accident can just one section be redone.
3. Washing and polish requirements ?

1) its original car paint. There's about 8 layers...the first 2 layers is the peel-able stuff, then black base coats, the color and final 2 coats is the gloss... It wont fade unless you park in the sun all day everyday for a couple of years. Vinyl fades quicker
2) Yes
3) You can wash and polish it the same way you would wash your car. As mentioned in first answer its normal car paint.

Did they do interior parts as well? Like if I open your door, will I see white around the door, open the boot or bonnet..etc? Or is it all yellow?

Looks great man, I'm wanting to do similar to mine

They did about 15mm of yellow into the inner part. If they did the whole inner parts the car would have to go get a roadworthy done and re-register the car license for a color change.

It's worth doing. It protects the original paint from the sun, stone chips, other car doors opening against it, etc. It also keeps the value of the car higher than book value if you decide to sell the car and peeling it off.

The main reason I did it is for stone chips cos I often drive behind trucks or buses on the highway between my 2 offices, and other car doors. When I go to a mall I always park on the far side of the parking lot where its empty most of the time, but often when I come back to the car there's a SUV parked next to me

Saw your car in the top gear magazine...., before the dip though.

Yeah that was in Sept to compare the "looks" of the M140i and M135i in the article for the comparison of the engines in the 1M and M140i.

Its gonna be featured in the next issue of the local THE BEEMER magazine

:coolShake: thanks, interesting - its actually quite cheap considering the amount of work one dose for the finished product.

Hehe a banana crossed my mind when I saw this. But in all honesty it really looks amazing. Its different and looks good doing it, I am not a fan of yellow but you managed to make it look good on your car.
