I would suggest you give your cat a twist to the left, gently unplug it and enjoy the new features, noises and benefits this gives a cat owner.

Alternatively you could just lock the door and shut the windows. :fencelook:

Henry, I must be suffering from a funny condition then, cause my car sounds fine.
Like Kartik said, its only on the higher revs that the car sounds kinda like an M3, but on the low rpm's when pulling away, it has a nice deep rumbling, pure bmw straight six sound.
Like I told you, get together with Kartik, or me, and go for a drive, and then decide. :thumb: and when you readdy, call me, and we can meet in Hatfield where I took Kartik, and get you sorted. :thumb:

Like I said I'll make a plan to get to Karthik and have a listen not in a rush really. But won't a 330i sound different to a 325i

Actually yes, even our 328i and my 330i sound worlds apart.

Ask Kartik on the forum.
Henry, the guy at Noyzboys is out to make money from you.
All you need is to remove the 2 cats situated in the exhaust, not in the branch.
After they cut them out they put in 2 pieces of freeflow pipe, thats all, and trust me, you wont have droning or vibrations.
Like I said, as soon as you readdy, call me, and I can meet you at the place I took Kartik too, and trust me, you wont be taken for a ride.

:thumbs::thumbs: yep I did exactly as Coisman said and it is worth it trust me

I'm still thinking of maybe doing the header cats and exhaust cats at the same time. I'll save up for this and do it right. But if not Coisman I'll ring you up and we go to Hatfield.

Ok so phoned around a bit more and got a quote for R1600. This is for the cats in the exhaust plus the ones in the headers and fitting mini cats.

I don't think you need to fit mini cats or cat foolers if you remove the ones in the headers.

Edit as far as I know you need cat foolers when you have pre and post cat lambdas and on on the SA version of the M54 when only have one set of lambdas after the first pair of cats in the manifold. What our exhaust manifold look like:
