Review: Downpipes (DP's) installation for 335/135 (PICS)

Great product which leads me to my question.
Obviously yourl are selling these products and it is safe and you gain results from it. Why has BMW not put these in the first place? Surely someone at bmw didnt put the DP's for a reason.
Could it possibly be yourl over looked some aspects.

I am in no way putting yourll down, just curious because if a simple product like this works, why did it not come standard?

You could ask also why BMW didnt include sunroof/led interior/more power by simply remapping the OEM. And this is not just BMW related matter, check Audi,VW-group and same thing in those cars too :idea:

One thing i know,the first cats are mainly used when cats are cold as pre-cats....but when you warm up properly 2.nd cats...no problem with emission tests.

Surely you understand that every BMW buyer is not ready to warm up all cats every time the car is inspected.Easier to do a standard setup which will pass emission tests no matter if you go straight to the inspection from you home.

Now tell me, will we still need a down pipe tool, if we have the newer Jb4 G5?
I would like to install a set of downpipes, but im just worried about it throwing codes all the time.

You wont throw emission codes codes with the G5 installed after and if the DPs were properly installed...just a set 1/3 on the steering wheel controls :thumbs:

Thx Turbo. The DPs been revised since this thread after many customer installations and we found the ideal configuration fit to prevent the DPs from touching. The space available is rather cramp under there and you can do only so much.
