Then honestly I would take a copy of that invoice back to them, tell them to pull up the job card which will show that you wanted a leak to be fixed, tell their service manager what you just told me and that they must now do a proper job at fixing the problem, and you'll pay the difference between your first invoice and this one (if there is one) or they must now fix the problem on their dime (if you think you can swing it by them). You mustn't be paying for random part-swapping.
If you don't come right with them I can highly recommend Cedar Isle Auto. That's where I was working, and the guy who would most likely fix your roof has done a lot of them and would probably find the problem, and they test for leaks properly in the wash bay. He wouldn't recommend anything that wasn't necessary.
I told them leave that but sort out the rattles that they made worse.
Now they came back to me saying , its a trim part causing rattles !
