The track day might be cancelled due to rain on Sat.

If it rains on Sat, then Saturdays event gets moved to Sunday. Its "Cars Wars 5", which is drags, sound off, car club displays etc.

Pity I didnt realize that it was in the morning. Its usually in the afternoons on a Sunday. I had family here this morning anyway. Was gonna come this afternoon tho.

Gconry18, you obviously found a helmet to use, sorry I didnt come. It is addictive hey. Did someone take you as a passenger to show u the "race" line, braking points, etc. I'll take you at next months track day. My car wont be done by then tho. :(

The track does chow your tires and brakes.

Glad you enjoyed it.

See you on Tues night

I was looking for you when I arrived then I saw an official and asked if there is a place to rent a helmet. He just lent me one. (It was Paul)

I went out on my own and I quickly got used to the track and tried to learn from some of the beginners that seemed to know what they were doing in front of me.

When I gave back the helmet Paul showed me the best lines on the aerial photo of the track.

Would be awesome to go out and learn with someone like you that knows the track. Although you will get majorly bored with my car because it is nowhere near as quick as yours.

I'm thinking that I should replace my tires now then put this set on another set of rims and then use them for a few track days so I dont wear out my new tires.

I saw one Member there, an eldish guy that came with a E46 330i (Silver with Black rims). He wasn't out on the track, he was with some guys that were working on old golfies. Do you know who he is? He saw me but I dont think he noticed the stickers on my car.
