Toyota Specialist?

Hi All

Can anyone recommend a Toyota specialist in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg? (ideally near Parktown / Rosebank / Houghton) or in Centurion?

My Rav is coming up for it's 105 000km service and I'd prefer to stay clear of the stealers.

Thank you.
Cust.

Hmm if rav has a chain timing belt and you can do a bit of DIy then should be relatively easy i.e. new oil filter, oil and sump washer, check air filter maybe needs replacing, new plugs and your are about done.

Must be honest that I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to DIY. I'd love to be able to do it myself but I think I'd probably struggle without some guidance first time around...

In addition to the normal service items, there are a couple of other things that I would like to have checked out on the car and thus, would appreciate the input of an expert :=):

Have you checked dealer pricing on services - they are actually not too bad at Toyota. I've got a Prado 120 and the last 2 services at the dealership was less than R1500 each.

Same here, I've used Rivonia Toyota. I even requested them to change the gearbox and transfer case oil, I paid for the oil and they did it as part of the service. As with BMW, not all dealerships are equal, stay away from woodmead dealership.

Reviving an old thread here but hoping someone can assist..

I have a cousin in JHB (Sandton) who has been advised by Toyota that the brake discs and pads need to be replaced on his 2016 Corolla Quest. Toyota has quoted R9k.

Are there any indies in other areas who may be able to do it at a better price?

Thanks in advance :)

I have mostly used generic brands like Deselra and Sure Brake and they would last around 7 - 8 months ( on Uber ) so they are quite decent.

Try Summit Brake and Steering they might have better brands and labour might come in cheaper than Toyota.

They are at 375 Rivonia Boulevard.

My toyota is worked on almost exclusively by Kimesh (Fastoy Performance) in Midrand. He is an ex toyota mech working from home with one other person, but this ensures that he is working on your car.
