Towbar wiring on E34

Hi all,

I just want to know if anyone have an idea where the wires should be connected that goes to the towbar on a E34? Is there a plug in the car where you plug it in or not? My E34 has that function on the dash to see if the trailer lights are all working or not, mine is not correctly connected, they just connected the wires to the one tail light. My trailer lights are working when its connected to the car, its just the dash indicated for the trailer thats not working.

Thanks again, but due to this URL, I have a lot of stuff to fix now that never bothered me, because it's small rattles and stuff. It bugged the wife tough.

You need the special "Trailer module" to use that feature, it's a black box with fuses and sensors that monitor the trailer lights.

Trust me on this, you do not want one............They cause so many fake errors
