Towbar Help

Hi,

So my car came with a detachable towbar. Now I tried to fit it today, but my car key doesnt fit?

Anyone have any experience with these things?

I really dont want to send it to bmw.

On my wife's E46 the towbar has it's own key.

Ok so the key must then be different. How can I get a new key? BMW ? Or is there another way to have a key made?

Does anyone know if its possible to get a key cut.
