So guys, I am in Durban - and looking for someone to give my 1997 328i a complete body overhaul.
The car is neat - got it a month now, but it has the nagging stone chips here and there, and there's rush forming under the rear arches, the part of the rear just below the bootlid, and where the boot spoiler was fitted. Other places the paint also looks dated.
I am hoping to restore it with the same Alpine White paint, or something that is just as beautiful - that won't make the car look cheap. Then, also all the rubbers I would like replaced, especially arounf the door handles and the rear window.
Basically, looking for a reputable company/guy who will strip the paint - repair the body where needed, then prime, and give it a flawless paint job.
What am I looking at spending here - want the best. Will save for next 10-12 months if I must. And do you guys have suggestions?
