Tried it on the torque app and works really well, will play around some more tomorrow

Can vsomai or alex, can u tell me what application on the disc I need to use on my laptop? I tried the one but it keeps telling me it can't find the interface

Hey Scouse, great meeting you bud, sweet ride you have there! Very Jealous! Ok OBD2 Spy is a good little app if you like to be able to time your quater mile, 0-100 time and your reaction time plus it does give you real time info on you air temp,maf etc. Scantool will check diagnostics etc, fault codes and all that but its very basic. The scanmaster is the better one, its the demo program but you can still do quite a bit with it. I had to pair my laptop with the device first before any program would pick it up. mine runs on Com8

Nice , where is obd2 port sited ? E36 328i 1996 has obd1 I presume -20 pin round plugs in engine bay .

There is NO cable connection as it is Bluetooth with an OBD-II BT connector interface!

Great stuff and we do recomment this for every enthusiastic car owner! :thumbs:
