I actually know the guy/a guy in PTA that I've bought OBD cables from before. He will let you test it before you take it, so it is a very safe setup in that regard. I contacted him on Wednesday night, and he said he had a few, I just was to tired to meet 22h30, so maybe tonight or else next week some time. I'm pretty sure it will work, though... I will also ask him about stock levels and if I'm allowed to share his contact details...

Hi Guys,
i have imported the bluetooth OBDII scantool. this one works with Android phones and tabets. it even comes with software to use on a laptop via bluetooth. i will be selling it for R200. for those who do not have an Android device, i will be selling a 7" tablet PC (good specs).

i am expecting stock by Friday next week.

i am in Durban. but a good mate of mine is willing to keep some of my stock in JHB for those guys just to take shipping cost out of the equation. i will let you guys know when it is here.

Howsit guys i ordered my own vgate ob2 bluetooth unit.
cost me R140 landed .

i tried it with torque in my galaxy tab and it works on my 335i
not all sensors are supported
the major ones i needed , boost , timing intake temps and fault codes are working!

i tested this with the free version of torque
will post a review of the full version tommorw

Do you have the link - can't seem to find any at that price point.

BTW, is there anyone in Gauteng with this unit - don't mind paying the R200 if I can get it direct in JHB.

Okay, so I got the adapter, but it did not work with my car... I know the diesels were only required to have OBD2 by 2004, and my car is an early 2003 model... Of course, it could also be the adapter's fault. Either way, no success.

i was told by someone that they dont work on diesels at all, but i still wanna try it!
